An intro

Raiyan here. Glad to see that you're interested in coming to Hack the Hammer II. We have many awesome activities + workshops planned this year and hope you can make it out to the event. We'll be sending out a series of emails until the event for beginners and veterans on how they can best prepare for the hackathon (and learn about some awesome tools). Even if you don't end up coming to the event, you'll still learn lots of technologies used in the industry that will help you in the future. Archives of these emails will be available on our website so you can access the info anytime, anywhere. With all that said, let's dive right in:

Hack Tip # 1: Download your tools ⚒️

Before you can make a prize-winning solution, you need to download and learn the tools to create it! Here are some of the most popular softwares that previous participants have used and ones that are used commonly in their respective industries. We'll be covering some of them (like Flutter) at our workshops too.

Text editors Version Control
Game Dev / VR GUI Dev

Can't find something in your programming language? Try searching "Awesome ${your language}" in the URL and find a Github repository with resources on your language of choice e.g "Awesome Java" .

Thanks for reading thus far .  Stay tuned for tip #2.
